Don't wake me I plan on sleeping in

Today was the last day of classes for the semester, meaning no more 8:00 classes! Tomorrow, (Wednesday), is reading day, and a bunch of us are planning breakfast together. It should be fun!

We had our final chorale practice today and to celebrate the end of the year we combined it with a cheesecake party. Oh my, was it ever good! I think my favorite was the turtle cheesecake that Chelsea, Aza and Candice made. It started out with a pecan crust, topped with a layer of caramel. Next came the cheesecake layer, and topping that was a chocolate sauce, and crushed pecans. It was sinfully delicious! Ryan helped me make a Torte del Fromaggio de Lemon, which tranlated into English simply means a lemon cheesecake. We adapted a recipe that he had from the Italian resturant he used to work at, hence the Italian name. It turned out very well.

Well, this isn't a very long post, but I just felt like writing something. More later :)

The irony being of course that you got up at 8 to goto the store... :)
(And it's Limone in Italian)

Ahhh... lasts are so exciting... and yet fearful. Lasts, by their very nature, must be followed by firsts of another sort... of SOME sort. Unless of course you are dead. But then it's the "first" of eternity.

Congrats on making it through the year. Your "firsts" are going to prove very exciting and very entertaining for us to read about ;)
